Today we had to think hard, explain our thinking and listen to others while we were being problem solvers and answering a tricky maths question:
There were 6 sheep (hipi in Te Reo) and two paddocks. The sheep/hipi had escaped and the farmer needed to put the sheep/hipi back into their paddocks. He needed to make sure there were the same amount of sheep/hipi in each paddock. How many sheep/hipi will be in each paddock?
There were some different answers so we all worked together to see if we could figure it out. We made a farm and used the animals to help us.
Look at our super problem solvers working the problem out. Ka pai Room 2!
How many sheep would there be in each paddock?
It is so great to see your wonderful problem solving skills! Ka pai to mahi!
