Mathletics

Joshua worked very hard on mathletics last week.

He got a bronze certificate.

Swimming superstars

We love going swimming!

In swimming we have been learning how to blow bubbles, put our heads under the water and pick up objects from the bottom of the pool.

We are also working hard to improve our kicking skills.

We are making great progress already!

Numicon

We have been exploring Numicon.

This is a great tool to help us with our mathematical number knowledge.

 We looked at what numbers they represent, how to order the numicon shapes, how we can make other numbers with them and how many ones go into each number. 

Jolly Phonics

Today we started Jolly phonics.

We are learning about letters and the sounds that they make.

Literacy activities

We have been using different literacy activities to help us learn about letters.
