*We need to click our helmet straps together to keep it on our head so we don't break our brain - Nikita
*Cross at a zebra crossing when we can - Lucas
*Wait for cars and trucks and vans and go when the green light man comes up at zebra crossings - Tahlia

The Slug that came to School
This morning Myla and her sister found a slug! She brought it in to share for news. She thought looked a bit like a tiger and it feels slimy and squishy! It also stretches when it moves and gets really long!
She wrote an amazing story about the slug!
Before school Arley found a slug on the mat and Arley picked it up. She put it in a container then went outside and got some silverbeet for the slug. The slug loved it! It explored in the silverbeet and ate its way through the cabbage.

Hiwi the Kiwi
Today the we had the Hiwi the Kiwi show at school. We learnt all about safe fishing and making sure we fish for our future.
We know that we do not take small fish because we need to let them grow. We also shouldn't take big fish because they might have babies.
We loved the songs and actions.
